That’s an important question and just as important for me as your photographer that you choose me for the right reasons.
In order to answer it I am going to throw some questions right back at you.
  • Do you have a passion for Art or photography?
  • Do you love the outdoors and nature?
  • Do you prefer quality over quantity?
  • Do you prefer a personalised service over a mainstreamed service delivered to the masses?
If you have answered these questions with yes, yes, yes, and yes then YES I am the right photographer for you :)

No, I love natural light too much.

It's basically a photographer that uses natural light as his/her main source of light.  I do sometimes use flash to fill in shadows on faces but very rarely.  If I am photographing newborns in their home environment I will place them by a source of natural light (large window) I choose natural light over flash or artificial because I prefer the results.

We live in Britain and in Britain it rains often! The most important thing to know about your session is that if your session is due to take place outside then your booking will be entirely weather dependant. If it is raining, your shoot will need to be rescheduled. Believe it or not, it’s not that often that I have to reschedule!

You will need to book a full session if;
• You are a large group or family can take up to three hours as there are more people to photograph. A large group is considered 5 to 8 people.
• If you want a newborn session, as new born babies need to be fed and changed regularly.
• If you have a child who is shy, feels nervous, does not like having their picture taken.
• If you want pictures of your baby/toddler (6months – 3 years old) as they don’t usually like sitting still for very long!

Choose a mini session if;
• If you only want a few images to fill frames
• Your children are over the age of 4.
• There are no more than 4 people in your family.
• You just need professional Casting / Audition Headshots for your child/children

Don’t worry, once you have secured your booking I will send you a “what to wear guide” and a “what to expect guide” I will also talk to you over the phone before the shoot AND send you a mood board packed with ideas for your shoot.

Yes, Monday to Friday 9am - 2pm

It really depends on the exact date of your shoot but here's a rough guide to times you can expect depending on what season you book in;

Autumn - early as 8am and as late as 4.30pm
Winter - early as 8.30am and as late as 3.30pm.
Spring - early as 6.30am and as late as 7pm.
Summer - early as 6am and as late as 7.30pm

Because I'm in love with magical dreamy light these times of day produce. It's the best light and I want your images photographed in the best light possible.

Don’t worry, once you have secured your booking I will send you a “what to wear guide” and a “what to expect guide” I will also talk to you over the phone before the shoot AND send you a mood board packed with ideas for your shoot.
